Weekly Photo Challenge: Infinite

Magnificent architecture! Inspiring photos. Thanks for sharing ‘Too Mutch For Words’. Brings nice memories from Thailand.
I love the quote by Mark Twain.

Too Mutch For Words

Shwe In Dein, Inle, Burma

“He who has seen one cathedral ten times has seen something; he who has seen ten cathedrals once has seen but little; and he who has spent half an hour in each of a hundred cathedrals has seen nothing at all.” – Mark Twain, Innocents Abroad

Marcus, Hadyn and I lost count of the religious structures surrounding us. A thousand temples, a million stupas; myriad incense sticks and faded flower offerings; an abundant population of Buddhas and an endless collection of golden spires. At Shwe In Dein, on the shores of Burma’s Inle Lake, we will finally succumb to “pagoda burnout”: having witnessed an infinite number of spiritual monuments, we can no longer remember what we have seen at all…

Memorable Meetings of the Terrific and Terrifying kind

Beautiful blog. Very brave great adventure!

Cycling Dutch Girl

After sticking to roads for about three weeks I had the urge to get out, find a dirt track and see what else there is on Hokkaido.

According to my logic there had to be a track where I saw a river and a railway line on my map. I was right. Almost.

Found some dirt!

In most countries you will find service roads along railway lines. No difference here.
